Navy USN Top Gun Fighter School Gentex HGU84/P Helmet MBU12 Mask Bag 193 BC1

Fantastic US Navy (USN), Gentex HGU-84/P, Fighter Pilot Helmet with MBU-12 oxygen mask with attached bayonet clips. This helmet has the 'United States Navy Fighter Weapons School' ('Top Gun') stickers on both sides of the helmet. In addition it has a red star over a yellow lighting bolt (outlined in red), on the upper rear of the helmet. Lastly, it has the call-sign 'BUGS' stenciled on the lower rear of the helmet. We are not familiar with the 'star/bolt' logo pertaining to a US Navy squadron, so can't comment to it. The 'red star' is a common 'aggressor' squadron sign; however, we have not seen it with a lightning bolt before. The helmet has the foam & cushioned liner. Although the helmet has all the correct comms wiring, there are no earphones. The ear-cup cushions are also present, just no earphones. The interior appears in excellent condition, so it may have been recently updated and the earphones weren't added yet. The chin & nape assemblies are present as well as the sliding dark visor. This helmet also comes with the shown bag. As previously stated due to no earphones we were not able conduct any comm testing. Again, although the wiring is there and appears ready for your headphone hook up, it has not been tested to ensure workability. We did NOT test the mask. This is a pre-owned/used helmet.
