Presidents Own Band Marine Corps USMC Full Dress Uniform Trousers Gloves RARE HC

Vintage 'The President's Own, US Marine Corps Band', musician full-dress uniform. This fantastic uniform displays the white shoulder knots with metal attachments, white aiguillette, 2 pair of trousers (blue with red blood stripe* & white), white belt with staff NCO waist plate/buckle, and collar Eagle, Globe, and Anchor insignia. This is an older uniform and does display some moth bites throughout; nothing glaring, but is noticeable and photographed when observed (especially on the shoulder by the knots). In our almost 30 years selling military surplus, this is only the second time we've been fortunate to obtain a President's Own Band uniform. The white knots and aiguillette appear original and display darkening (need cleaning to bring them back to their original glory). The belt appears newer. While we are 100% confident in this uniform, and the white trousers are accurate, our knowledge (and belief), would have the *blue trousers displayed with a white pin-stripe to be accurate; so we believe the blue trousers (although USMC trousers), may have been added with the lot; however, we are including as that is how we received.
