Rare Vietnam Era USAF Air Force Colonel 06 Combat Fighter Pilot Flight Suit HC

This item is an EXTREMELY RARE, authentic, vintage US Air Force (USAF), Vietnam Era Fighter Pilot, combat used/showcased, model #27/P, Nomex flight suit. This flight suit is extremely rare as it showcases this fighter pilot’s career, to include his multiple Vietnam era combat missions. The stars on the sleeve represent flight and combat hours flown. 500+ non-combat ‘fighter’ flight hours are designated with a silver star, while 500+ combat ‘fighter’ flight hours are designated with a gold star. This flight suit displays 9 silver stars which shows this Colonel has flown 4500+ non-combat hours, with a single gold star for an additional 500+ combat hours! These flight suits are rarely (if ever) released by the owner. In addition, this flight suit displays the vintage (rare) plastic encased Colonel (O6) metal rank.
