USN Military Navy Hospital Corpsman September Birthstone Sweetheart Necklace 5E1

This is something we haven’t come across before. It is an 18″ gold toned, pride or sweetheart, US Navy (USN), Hospital Corpsman necklace. This necklace is made in the style of a school/college ring with ‘Hospital Corpsman USN’ around a simulated blue sapphire (September birthstone). We could find no markings on the setting or chain and can only assume they are made with non-precious jewelers metal. In addition we do not know what the stones are made of.
