WW 2 II Valor V Bronze Star Medal Sewn Brooch Coffin Presentation Case 4H1

This is for an authentic, vintage, un-named, US military, New Old Stock (NOS), Un-Issued, Bronze Star medal in an authentic World War II era ‘coffin’ presentation case. The full size medal has the sewn brooch as well as the bronze ‘V’ (Valor) device. There is no lapel pin or uniform ribbon with this medal. We believe either the ‘V’ device was added later or has had the prongs cut off prior to mounting, as there are no prongs on this device (as normally seen in this era).
